Rabbitfoot
Age 25 Moons
Gender She-cat
Clan WindClan
Position Warrior
Short Description Dusky brown she-cat with yellow eyes.
Description Rabbitfoot has the typical WindClan build- thin and lanky, a runner more than a fighter (but don't think for a minute that she can't!) Her short pelt is all the same, even shade of brown, and her eyes are a plain yellow. In other words, she doesn't stick out ridiculously in a crowd. Really, she doesn't stick out at all. With a closer look, however, one may find her to be quite pretty. The shape of her head suggests that she has Abyssinian blood in her vains, with large ears and an angular face. Her limbs are long and powerful from running on the moor. She takes great pride in her coat, no matter how plain it may be, and keeps it neatly groomed at all times.
Personality One's first impression may be that she's a run-of-the-mill, loyal WindClan cat. She treats others with a hint of formality always, unless she deems them a close enough friend, in which case she will confide all her secrets in them and act like herself. While she does follow the warrior code, she's questioned it a number of times, such as when she found out about her sister's affair with a ShadowClan warrior. Oh, how they had risked being caught for the sake of their forbidden love! Yes, she's very much into dramatic romances. Rabbitfoot secretly envies all couples, as she's never felt that way herself. However, she's not a huge fan of having her own kits. She isn't very ambitious and hasn't really entertained the thought of becoming deputy or leader. Of course, she wouldn't say no, either; being able to serve her clan to the best of her ability is what she lives for. But shh, she's got a secret. While she's never thought of being leader, she likes to imagine what she'd be like if she was a crooked Clan cat. Not that she ever would be. Right?
History "The kits are coming! Get the medicine cat! Hurry!" The cry rang out through the camp and it quickly became known that Cloudybreeze was kitting. Her mate, Hawkflight, was out hunting that day and unfortunately he would not be returning after a rather unfortunate fall into the lake. The she-cat, unaware of the tragedy, pulled through and gave birth to two she-kits, whom she promptly named Harekit and Rabbitkit. She died moons later, only days before their apprenticeship. It is said that she died of a broken heart, as the medicine cat never could determine what had gone wrong. She had only hung on to see that her kits would survive without her. Rabbitpaw became apprentice to Whitewhisker, a grizzled old tom who would soon retire after she became a warrior. During the next six or so moons, Rabbitpaw excelled in her training, her sister right behind her. They had a fairly uneventful apprenticeship, and so they became Rabbitfoot and Harespring. It was the night of their vigil that (thus breaking the warrior code and their silent vigil) her sister told her about Nightstrike, the recently-made ShadowClan warrior. They had been sneaking out to see one another for a few moons. At first, Rabbitfoot was reasonably angry. She'd seen the tom before. Arrogant, much too ambitious for anyone's good. But the way her sister spoke of him, she simply couldn't be angry for long. "A forbidden love! It's simply the most romantic thing ever!" Never mind the fact that it would only bring trouble for them. And trouble there was. A few moons after their ceremony, Harespring was found dead on RiverClan territory. Supposedly she had drowned, but there was no mistaking the recent claw marks through her pelt. Rabbitfoot expected that she had been found tresspassing on their territory and fled into the water, no other escape available to her. She grieved for her lost sister, who had really been her closest and only friend in her Clan. Nightstrike, on the other paw, died from wounds in a fight with ThunderClan. Rabbitfoot had an apprentice once. A nosy little black tom by the name of Ravenpaw, he reminded her of how eager she had been to learn everything. The two were close, but of course, tragedy had to strike yet again. The young tom was killed by a badger not long before his warrior ceremony. Don't get me wrong, he didn't rush in carelessly! Oh no, she'd taught him better than that. But when he saw his fellow apprentice (and the she-cat he'd been padding after, at that) cornered, well...it need not be explained. And with the slam of a large paw and the snap of a spine, Rabbitfoot was without an apprentice. Since then, she's struggled to make friends in her Clan. She feels that if she does, they will be lost to her as the others were. But she's finally decided to come out of her shell and interact with others as more than acquaintances. Whether or not she'll be successful is a whole other story. [/blockquote]
